COLORFOOD is a photographic exhibit created by the photographer Dan Levi and the Italian and Israeli Creativity Lab ICPO. The show, hosted at the Israeli pavilion of the Expo 2015 Milan, will be on from May 14TH to 31st. Dan Lev invited the most interesting and creative Italian and Israeli Chefs to use food in order to create an abstract artwork, inspired by a color and a picture of their choice.
The result is a unique photographic exhibition, where food merges with art, where similarities and differences between the culture and traditions of Italy and Israel emerge, where the color and inspiration is the key to enter the creative world of the Chefs. The shooting were hosted in Milan, Rome and Tel Aviv. The creative process of the photographic exhibition reflects all the stages of food preparation in the kitchen: inspiration, creation through the mixture of ingredients, taste and mise en place.
The Israeli chefs who joined the project are: Israel Aharoni, Shaul Ben Aderet, Haim Cohen, Efrat Enzel, Tom Franz, Guy Gamzo, Victor Gloger, Yaron Kestenbaum, Erez Komerovski, Shaily Lipa, Omer Miller, Aviv Moshe, Segev Moshe, Avivit Priel, Ido Shapira, Avi Steinitz, Daniel Zach.
