On June 25th, the National Day of Israel at the Expo 2015 in Milan, one of the most important groups that have characterized the music in Israel will be hosted.
We are talking about Sheketak!
It is a group of street music and break dance, percussion and batteries, rock and animation but also corporeality in its purest form.
Not only the Sheketak play musical instruments but also, common things with which they can make a kind of music that can make noise and transmit energy to the audience.
Utensils, cutlery and pots are smashed violently to the ground causing noise that can trigger the minds of the people.
The message seems clear: to make beautiful music you don’t need a guitar, the Sheketak have showed that using their unique musical sound and the movement of their bodies they can make great symphonies.
