Francesco Brianzi is one of the 3 students winner of the contest “Discovering Israel”.
Every participant had to represent Israel in the way one preferred. Francesco, who is a drummer, decided to represent Israel through music.
“The tradition of the Israeli music has been very important for the Western world. The first Christian songs actually hail from the Jewish tradition. Also, there’s the concept of musical contamination: the Jewish music, not having a State for such a long time, has been influenced by other cultures and traditions. This is very fascinating,” said Francesco to the newspaper “Libertà”.
The price is a free trip to Israel.
