The Israeli Vertical Field Gets to Milan

The Israeli Vertical Field Gets to Milan

The Vertical Field presented by Israel at Expo 2015 is arriving to the city of Milan.

Thanks to Plinio63 Hublab, an Italian network of Italian architecture experts, the citizens of Milan will be able to have their own vertical field.

The project was born with the idea that even common citizens can have their own field to grow and they don’t necessarily need a garden or an outdoor place to do it.

This mini vertical fields come in pieces and are easy to put together. They have a drop irrigation system just as the original one at the Israeli Pavilion.

Among the creators of this project, there is the architect  Mara Berretta that has explained that the mini vertical field can be built everywhere even in the houses that don’t have a balcony!
