From June 6 to 26, the Israeli Pavilion hosts the exhibit called “Wheat is Wheat is Wheat” at Expo 2015 Milan. The Exhibit

The Israeli artist has created luxurious boxes for daily things like flour, eggs and milk with famous brand like Chanel, Prada, Cartier, Apple, Nike and so on.

The exhibit highlights the challenges a designer faces when tasked with promoting economic interests while remaining true to his or her own moral compass.

The collection combines shapes and images coming for the consumption world with ethics. It is a series of works of art meant to be provocative and ironic. The all exhibit wants visitors to reflect.

The Artist Peddy Mergui

This exhibit is the result of the personal experience of Peddy Mergui. Born in Marocco, his family moves to Israel when he was still a kid and he travelled to Japan as an adult. Today he’s professor at Holon Institute of Technology. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field.

During his career, peddy has won several prices and today he teaches on packaging, visual communications and leading methodologies.
